How can cities become a better human habitat?

The essay is directed to the relation of city's public spaces and private spaces in connection with the sense of a more human habitat in the urban space.
It is questioned the role of public spaces as a space for interdisciplinary crossing and a new form of sociability as well as the discussion of a virtual spaces overwhelming the use of public spaces and exphosing private space.
